Dorms, anywhere you want him (late morning)

Too tired from drooling on his girlfriend sitting outside sign up all night to do much productive, Cameron is currently wandering through the dorms. He still hasn't found his Little Sib person thingie and hopes to run into him as he has no clue where Walter could be staying. He might also be looking for Yuffie who he completely missed yesterday due to him having to write a song for Parkie.

During his wanderings, he really has to face up to the fact that yes, 2nd floor rocks.

After sign-up, Isabel wandered back up to the 4th floor common room and turned on the TV. Itchy and Scratchy were the best when you didn't want your brain to have to work.

Hearing noise in the not so cool 4th floor common room, Cameron sticks his head in.

"Yo, Isabel." He greets when he recognises the student and then grins. "Itchy and Scratchy? My favourite!"

"Hi! Ummm..." Isabel floundered, she'd met so many new people, she can't recall everyone's name.

"Cam," he supplied when he realised she didn't remember. "Too much information all at once?"

Isabel laughed. "Complete overload. It would be one thing to just have to remember everyone's name. But throw in all the stuff about gremlins, zombies, vampires and demons, and I think my head is about to explode."

"I don't blame you," Cameron took a seat in one of the chairs. "It's a lot to take in, but you should be fine. There's Rover to keep people safe inside the dorms. The worst that can happen here to you is that you'll embarrass yourself immensly, but that soon passes as someone else is bound to get it a whole lot worse than you the following day." And maybe that's not so reassuring.

"Rover? I haven't heard about him. I keep hearing about the possibility of public humiliation. That just doesn't sound like much fun." She grinned, "Well, unless you're not the one being humiliated."

On the fourth floor for no reason in particular, Angela sticks her head in the common room and sees Cam Mitchell talking to the blonde girl she had seen with Jake the day before.

"Hi, Cam. Hi, new person," she says cheerfully. "What's up? And why aren't you on the second floor?"

"Every once in a while I go out to see how much cooler second really is," Cameron says with a grin. "Was actually looking for my little sibling to see how he's doing."

"Oh, who's your little bro?" Angela says, ignoring the pathetic delusion about the second floor. "I got paired with this girl Lyta. Talked to her a little at Caritas last night, but we haven't hung out much."

"Walter... something. Damn, Dornez or something? Ugh, I suck. Been up way too long to sign up for classes."

Angela shrugs. "I haven't met Walter yet. But I just woke up insanely early for the signups. I think I got most of what I wanted, though. Or at least I hope so."

"I'm trying for history of art, medieval English history, math, music and sociology of the paranormal. What about you?"

"Criminal Justice, Medievial English History, Maths, Self-Defence and Tactics of War," Cameron replies. "I'll see what I get in to. I need to have maths and history for the Academy so I'm keeping my fingers crossed."

"I wanted criminal justice, but I heard Professor Tick is only letting in seniors and people who had him last term. Which I guess I understand, but..." Angela's voice trails off. "And yeah, my parents wanted me to take either math or science for college, and I didn't want to sit through science again. What Academy are you trying to get into?"

Isabel waves hi to the new person. "Hi! I'm Isabel."

"Hey, Isabel," Angela says. "I'm Angela."

"So how do you like Fandom so far?"

"It's been interesting," her tone somehow managing to convey that she'd heard all about the weird things in town. "But everyone seems very nice."

Angela quirks an eyebrow. "Interesting is one word," Angela says. "But you didn't run screaming, so you'll probably adjust. I did, and we don't have any of this stuff back in Pittsburgh. Is it new to you, too?"

"Totally. I'm from Roswell. The freakiest thing we have to worry about are the UFO junkies." She shook her head. "I've heard about so many different things here, I'm not sure what to believe. But then again, so many different people are saying the same thing, well unless it's a massive conspiracy against the new folks, I have to believe it's all true."

Yuffie yawned as she headed towards her room. She had gotten up early to sign up (soooo sucky) but at least she signed up for classes that sounded *interesting* Shop for the win!

A smile spread across her face when she saw Cam. "Cam! I'm sorry I didn't come find you yesterday! I totally got busy decorateing my room. Anakin hasn't decoated his side *at all* How weird is that? You still wanna try it?"

"No worries, I figured you might have been busy settling in." Cameron smiled at Yuffie's enthusiasm. He was pretty sure she understood bounciness. "I'm not really surprised about Anakin. And sure, if you haven't changed your mind yet."

"Not at all. we can do it now if ya want! I can just duck into my room and grab it." She pointed towards room 405 with a grin. "It probally won't take long at all."

"Sure, I got time." Cameron nods and there's definitely a bounce.

"Great! Hang on just a second!" The ninja girl ran off, dissapearing into room 405. There's the careful sound of messing with *something*, perhaps a small trap on a box, and soon Yuffie was bounding out of her room holding a small, softly glowing ord. "Got it!"

Cameron waits patiently and straightens up when Yuffie returns. He eyes the orb in her hands curiously. "It's still weird thinking you can do stuff like that with what looks pretty much like a stone. Well, a glowing stone. This one is to heal?"
