After waiting in his room for Carter for over an hour Jack decides that he must've been blown off. Either that or that she's working on something and still thinks she has "two more minutes."

Either way Jack has decided to go watch some TV to take his mind off it all.

"Ooh hey, Jon Smith. Huh. That kinda looks like the librarian."

"I got a message from Alex Krycek, I think, telling me that Lee Adama was having a naked party in his room and to make sure to bring a pillow for the pillow fights. That's all I know."

"Isn't Krycek still going out with Jake? The one from the paper?"

Sam gave him a Look. "How am I supposed to know? I've met Jake a grand total of twice, and only see Krycek when we're fumigating the assistants' lounge."

"Well I just thought maybe if you were getting random messages that maybe you heard something. The rumor mill at this place is sadly inadequate. Not counting the pirate of course."

"Nope. And don't talk about the pirate," she looked quickly around the room for shrubbery, "I'm kind of enjoying my anonymity."

"Yeah, anonymity is good. Saves you from scary voicemails."

"Maybe it saves you from scary voicemails. I, however, have not been spared."

She shifted her weight. "Er, speaking of which, you're not dating Vala in secret, are you? Because she left a message for a Jack on my voicemail..."

"Vala? Uh, that would be a big flying no. Think sh ment Harkness?"

Sam let out a sigh of relief. She hadn't really thought...but it was nice to be sure. "Maybe. I hope she didn't mean it the way it sounded, though, or Cameron's gonna be heartbroken."

"Well, it is Vala. Maybe she wanted it to sound like that on purpose?"

"Yeah, I don't want to go into that right now. If they're having problems, it's up to them to work them out."

Unsaid went the thought that Sam thought they had enough of their own.

Jack knew they had to talk but... try as he might he couldn't bring himself to say anything.

"Yeah." She put her hands in her back pockets and rocked back and forth on her feet.

"You wanna get out of here?"
