After waiting in his room for Carter for over an hour Jack decides that he must've been blown off. Either that or that she's working on something and still thinks she has "two more minutes."

Either way Jack has decided to go watch some TV to take his mind off it all.

"Ooh hey, Jon Smith. Huh. That kinda looks like the librarian."

"I'm all banthabell-ed out after the pageant," Anakin said. "One more rendition of the Dreidl Song and I might've had to commit ritual suicide."

"Now when you say 'ritual suicide' do you mean cult ritual, seppuku ritual or someting entirely different?"

"Figured I'd come up with one of my own, call it a traditional Jedi ritual." He shuddered. "But then I decided that Principal Bristow would've found a way to bring me back to life just to do the damn zombie dance."

"I'll give you a hundred dollars right now if you do the zombie dance."

"No way, never, not going to happen," Anakin replied. "Nope. And no."

"Two hundred. Come one, do it. You know you want the money."

"I'm not allowed to keep it," Anakin pointed out. "Jedi have no possessions. Plus the whole public humiliation thing."

Rory strode in, fresh from Lee's naked party (where she had remained clothed, in spite of a pirate's encouragement to do otherwise) and spotted Anakin.

"You. Need to to talk to you. Now. Please."

It's possible she might have been a little annoyed.

"Hi, Jack," she added as an afterthought.

Anakin gave her a smile that faded as she came closer. By the time she was close enough, he was getting a bad feeling about this conversation.

"Um, okay," he said.

He stood up with an apologetic smile. "Um. Gotta go."
