"I think I found something." Kawalsky all but dragged Bridge down the stairs. "Wanna go hunting?"

"Sounds serious!" Bridge says, wide-eyed. "Sure, always glad to help!"

"Cool." He was not avoiding homework at all. He opened his footlocker and pulled out two flashlights. "Sorry if I dragged you away from something important, man."

"S'okay, dude. I was actually just looking for something to do!" he grins at Kawalsky. "was gettin' bored."

He handed over one of the flashlights. "Great! Let's go then." They headed out into the dark and circled around to where Charlie thought he saw something from his window. "There!" he whispered and dropped down low, peering into the darkness. He'd forgotten to bring his NVGs.

Bridge peers curiously in the direction Kawalsky indicated. "I don't see anything!" he whispers.

"There's a little flashy light thing!" He pointed. "Maybe it's an albatross with laser eyes."

It wasn't ridiculous around here.

Marty Peter hops through the campus grounds with his Couch cushion cover potato sack.

"I'm totally ^*win*-ing!" he shouts as he hops by the group of older kids.

Kawalsky watched Marty jump by in a potato sack. "Huh."

Bridge looks on as Marty goes hopping by.

"Is *that* what you thought you saw?" he asks.

"Nuh-uh. If it was just Marty in a potato sack, I'd have just taken a photo."

"Okay, albatross with laser eyes it is, then!" Bridge says.

"What do you think an albatross with laser eyes is doing out here?"

"Nesting?" Bridge offers. "I mean, spring's coming up, right?"

"That's a good point. We'd better be careful then. We don't wanna scare her off if she's nesting. But I wanna get a closer look." They crept out away from the dorms towards the occasional blinky light.

As they're creeping along in the forest, Bridge hears the sound of a twig snapping. He whirls to face the direction he heard the sound. "Hey, let's check over there!"

CallyB.A. runs up to Kawalsky. "Yo, kid! You see some suckas hoppin' by in little sacks lookin' for potatoes?"

"I... think so?" Bridge says, looking at Kawalsky for confirmation.

Kawalsky nodded. "I think we can take on an albatross."

"A nesting one? With laser eyes?" Cordy sounds mildly nervous. "Can't be worse than a demon, right?"

"Right. It's more scared of us than we are of it. Or somethin'."

Bridge shrugs. "I mean, just as long as we don't, like, disturb it. We just wanna look at it!"

"Okay!" Cordy is reassured by this. This is probably silly advice. But anyway, adventure! "I don't even think I know what an albatross looks like..."

"It's a big bird. Really big. The biggest, I think."

"But it's not Big Bird, that character from the old children's show," Bridge clarifies.
