Wednesday Night, 3rd Floor Common Room

Angela is curled up on the couch. She's half-watching The Z-Cases -- she has quite a crush on Wolf Londer -- but most of her attention is going to the laptop, pile of CDs, and shiny new iPod next to her, as she attempts to get music to load.

Somehow, it is not going well. She frowns and tries another CD.

Marty Peter looked at the hand on his knee and the cute girl in front of him.

"What's *ferret* action supposed to be like?"

Angela laughs.

"Okay, the voice thing? Go see Dr. House if it's still doing that tomorrow." She leabns in closer. "You told me last week that ferret action was kind of like this."

The kiss she gives him bears a significant chance of knocking Marty's socks off, if Peter doesn't completely freak out.

The kiss is fantastic. There's a little flailing to begin with.

But luckily it's also the same time that the gremlin wears off.

Marty blinks and looks around the room.

"Where am I?"

Suddenly it all comes flooding back to him and he groans and tries to smother himself with a couch cushion.

The muffled word "Gremlins" might be heard.

Angela tries to yank the couch cushion away from him.

"Would it help to know it wasn't just me?" Marty groaned. "They got everyone in the support group and we all thought we were part of some weird singing, potato sack racing family."

"Except for Cally who kept calling everyone a fool."

Marty looks at Angela with a tired look. "It always has to happen to me."

Angela covers her face with both hands.

"Oh my god. That's werd even for gremlin bites. I swear they're getting better at what they do." She glances up. "Your voice ... were you, like, 12 or something? I mean, was I hitting on a middle school kid? 'Cause that's gross."

She leans into him. "Why is it always you? Can't they pick on somebody else? I mean, at least this time you were all people, and not three. But still."

Marty puts his arm aound Angela and sighs. "I don't know... but at least I have other people to share my pain with."

Marty then coughs embarrasedly.

"Um... Question? Is that ferret thing still an option? Might help with the gremlin thing?"

Angela spends a second just looking puzzled.

Then she thwacks him with the cushion.

"God, is that all you think about?

Don't answer that."

She snickers.

"Yeah, sure, we can go back to my room as soon as this episode is over."

Marty takes the cushion like a man. Or at least a teenager.

Definitely not like a 12 year old obsessed with bicycles and potato sack races.

Marty settles in on the couch with Angela to watch the end of the Z-Cases.

He will *not* be listening to the radio tomorrow.
