"Little bastard," Shep mumbles and then realizes that if he can do this right, he could have a little fun. As the monkey grabs his wrist to swing down, Shep grabs the monkey's hand paw. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a couple of candies. He offers them to the monkey. Once the monkey has taken them he puts one finger up to his mouth. He points up at Pip, mimes throwing a ball at him, and then offers the little guy a bright yellow bouncy ball.

Then steps back to see if the monkey got the idea.

"You know who your friends are, right, little guy?"
