(no subject)

Sawyer is sitting infront of the West Attic door, there's a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and he's actually reading the paper this morning instead of listening to that crap on the school's radio. Inhale, exhale a large ass amount of smoke, repeat.

It's to be hoped he's not leaning against the door or he's about to fall straight into his girlfriend's legs.

Paige deciding edible food would be a good idea opens the door to find Sawyer there.

"I don't mind you smoking inside," she tells him sitting down beside him and wrapping an arm around his waist.

Paige shrugs, "well if you do it my room it's not such an issue is it?"

She rests her head against him, "better than yesterday, not that that's saying much. I had to tell Pip the truth about me,"

Paige picks up on the jealous tone and kisses Sawyer on the cheek, "He's teaching me how to defend myself, you get why that's important right? Given...well you know," she says frowning. "I pointed him out to you when all the new students arrived, he's cool I think you'd like him."

She raises an eyebrow and kisses him properly this time, "James you have to trust me you know, or there's not much point us doing this."

She didn't know it, she just sort of hoped. It was like that for a lot of things in her life, she had no idea what was gonna happen she just hoped for the best, but prepared for the worst. Still she remained pretty optimistic about everything, she had too realy.

She smiled and nodded slowly, "yeah course I do," she lied, still if it made him feel better what did a little lie matter?
