I am hoping that these small gifts do something to make you feel at home here. Trust me when I say that I can honestly feel how lonely and sad you get sometimes. There's someone here who empathizes with the thought of being out of place or having something strange happen to you that you can't explain.

Marty looked at his "delivery" with confusion.

"Kiki? Pardon my french, but what the hell is that?!"

Kiki looks at the odd plushie.

"It's..." She pauses. The person who had asked her to deliver it hadn't said what it was, just that it needed delivering.

"It's..." She falters again. Really, Marty's question was a good one. What was it? A dog? A bear? It had the ears of a bat and the forelimbs of a goanna lizard, and the back limbs of a... something. It was an odd combination, but really quite cute.

"It's blue," Kiki finally announces triumphantly. "And huggable."

The blue thing wiggles and chirps.

"Oh my god, it's alive!" Kiki squeals, startled. "Um. Well. With any luck, your secret friend will give me some directions on how to take care of it to deliver to you soon."

The blue thing looked at Marty, chirped at him and took off like a shot.

Marty groaned and started running after the thing.

"Thanks Kiki!"

"Um... you're welcome?" She calls after him dubiously as she watches him take off after the CBF - the cute blue fuzzy.

"Maybe I should stop delivering pets," she comments to herself as she walks back up the hall to the elevator.
