2nd Floor Hallway [Wednesday Evening]

After Bridge succeeds in dragging Sam out of her room, the two of them are in the second-floor hallway, preparing to set off on an exploration mission. If anyone else were similarily inclined, they'd be welcome to join the party.

[ooc: locked to a group of intrepid adventurers (Bridge, Sam, Rory, John, Lee, Molly and Hamlet).]

"Anakin Skywalker," Rory replied. "He's trying. No luck yet."

Bridge wisely does not say anything about the fact that Rory has Anakin on her speed-dial.

Anakin was still craning his neck and looking up at the sky. "You were in blue, you said?"

His senses were telling him that Rory was on the sixth floor and about a thousand feet above him.

Sometimes he just didn't want to know how far reality had been warped at this school.

"Yeah, like a darkish blue," Rory said. "Can you actually see us? We're on the sixth floor, but also? Totally in the sky."

Molly started jumping from cloud to cloud and waving her arms more. "Can he see us? Can he see us?"

Anakin's voice, through the phone, sounded perplexed. "Okay, I'm seeing something really tiny and, um, pink, kinda bouncing around. Could that be you?"

"That could totally be Molly," Rory grinned.

She held the phone away from her mouth, and called to Molly, "He can see you."

"I'm the blue thing that's lying down and holding still," she said into the phone. "The clouds are the floor up here, and I'm looking at the ceiling."

Bridge bounces over to another cloud and then back on to the cloud with Rory.

"Did he see that?" he asks, bouncing in place. "Hi Anakin!" he says, looking up and waving.

Molly continued to bounce around. "WEEEEEEEEE!"

"Okay, now I see a couple of bouncing things," Anakin said. "And a couple of dark-ish shadows--I'm guessing you and Hamlet, since Hamlet doesn't strike me as the bouncing type."

He ran a hand through his hair. "You, um, coming back down, or out or whatever soon? Because you being in two places at once is kinda giving me a headache if I think about it too hard."

"Soon, I think," Rory replied. "And yeah, the dark shapes are me and Hamlet, I guess. Bridgey and Molly are all over the place. Everyone says hi, by the way."

The phone crackled, and Rory sighed. "I actually better get off the phone. I'm surprised my signal held out as long as it did. I'll, um, talk to you soon."

She flipped the phone shut, not at all smiling doofily, and turned to look at the others. "What do you think is in the other rooms?"

"Good question, Rory. Maybe there's an underwater room? Or one without gravity?" Bridge suggests.

Molly bounced back toward the still open door. "Maybe we'll be giants in one room and tiny in another. Maybe another will be filled with giraffes!" If anybody asked her how old she was right now, Molly would claim eight with a straight face.

"Giraffes?"

"Giraffes!"

"Maybe we should go find out!" Bridge says, bouncing back towards the door.

Rory rolled along, holding onto the rope and letting Bridge's bouncing pull her.

Molly jumps back into the hallway behind Hamlet.
