Hallway 2nd floor, morning

Still too sore to actually make it down to the gym, Cameron decided that a walk might be in order. He left Vala sleeping (she'd made it back late and he had the vague suspicion that he really didn't want to know her thoughts on the move) and headed into the hallway.


((Mostly for Logan, but if anyone wants to witness this run in, that's always possible...))

Logan was still hunting for parts for Vice Principal Pierce's project. He passed Cameron in the hallway and gave him a nod in greeting.

Cameron nodded back and maybe he was still partly asleep that he had already past him before last night's the conversation in the common room came to mind. He swivelled around and shouted; "Yo! Logan!"

Cameron tried to find a way to put this delicatedly without sounding like a I'm-going-to-kill-you-if-you-ever-go-near-my-sister-again big brother. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

Maybe that wasn't it.

Logan looked down at himself and then back at Cameron. "I'm walking through the hallway. Is this some new phase in your charming territorial war? Do I need to salute you or genuflect or something, 'cause that's really not happening."

"What?" Cameron for a moment lost his line of thought. "No! I'm talking about Molly, man."

"Yeah, Molly." Cameron took a few steps closer. "You're a senior for god's sake. Don't you think it's bad enough enough already that you actually have to discuss it in front of everyone?"

Logan held up his hands defensively. "Hey! Not like I wanted it to be a freshman! But she was there, so..." He shrugged.

"She was there?" Cameron spluttered and glared at Logan. "Aren't you the sweet talker? Is that what you told her too?"

Logan peered at Cameron, wondering what the hell was his problem. "Well, we didn't do all that much talking," Logan shrugged.

It's possible Cameron just lost his ability to talk. He gritted his teeth and looked very much like he was resisting the urge to just punch Logan and get it over with.

"You know," he finally spoke up and took another step closer, "somehow I'm really not surprised. You seems exactly the type to do your thing and not give a damn about anyone else. If you hurt her, I'm going to Kick. Your. Ass."

The laughing really wasn't helping. "Believe it or not, but some people actually think sex means something. It's just sad that you haven't realised that yet."

Logan threw up his hands. "I didn't sleep with her! I tend to notice these sorts of things." He thought back, and remembered Cameron storming out of the common room the night before. "Oh," he said. "That's what you thought we were talking about."
