Burninated second floor common room, Wednesday night

Jaye's got her table again, and her computer chair, wheeled down the stairs from the fourth floor. Because everything's burninated.

She tilts her head back so she can see him. "I am getting revenge for certain events that have occurred. If I get in trouble, I am willing to do so in the name of the revolution. Which I will never say again, so mark this day on your calendar."

"Certain events?" Archie puts his hands in his coat pockets and leans over to grin at her. "I don't have a calendar. Should I get one just for this occasion?"

"You may have to just remember it," she says. "Or forget I ever said it and no one is the wiser."

Archie totally leans over a little further and kisses her. "Oh, I'll remember it."

She smiles up at him, blushing a little. Okay, more than a little. "Good."

Archie's blushing right back, and if he could see himself he would understand what 'dorky' means. "So, is there any way I can convince you to tell me what these 'certain events' are that require vengeance?"

"Um. So, he's kind of teased me a few times... about you? So I'm getting him back?"

"Oh," says Archie, blushing a little bit harder. "The announcements. Yes." He reaches down to touch her hair -- no, really, he's just trying to knock a little bit of glitter out of it.

"What if he just teases you more?"

"Then I might have to switch to another tactic," she says, still smiling. "A worse one."

"You're full of surprises, aren't you? Evil surprises."

She considers this, and nods. "Yeah, pretty much. Don't even have to try."

Wow, there must be a lot of glitter in Jaye's hair, because Archie's still playing with it. "Should I worry?"

"Nah, I think you're safe," she says. Still smiling. Her neck is going to stay this way for days at this rate.

"Oh good." Still smiling too, but starting to worry that Jaye's head is going to get stuck at that angle. So he goes around and leans against the table so she doesn't have to look up at him.

"I see I didn't have to go looking for you after your foray into town," she says. Yep. Still smiling.

"No, I made it safely!" he replies cheerfully. "Though -- isn't it your turn tonight? I could walk you down, if you'd like."

If Jaye actually listened to what happened in town, she'd know that the fandom troopers are already there and it's perfectly safe. But even if she knew that she'd still say, "That could be cool..."

"Oh, good," says Archie, now smiling the smile of 'I know perfectly well that town is safe now but I'm not letting on.' "I might be worried about you otherwise, you know."

"And we wouldn't want that."

"You mean you wouldn't want me to worry about you?" Archie's look of mock surprise is, well, mockable.

"Well, I wouldn't want you to have to worry, but if you had to, I would rather you did..." Instead of tripping herself up more, she sighs and says, "Hi."
