Weather Update - Saturday - through mid morning FH time
The blizzard continued to rage all night long. But, once again, come morning the winds died down. Unlike Friday though, the winds continue to die until they stop completely around mid morning.
The snow, however, continues to fall. It is also much colder than it has been throughout the whole storm. The temperature hovers around 25 F (-4 C) all day. Until the winds stop at about 10am, the wind chills make going outside a very dangerous proposition.
Up at the school, the grounds are blanketed with a thick layer of snow. The power has held all night, so despite the buildings being colder than usual, people should stay pretty comfortable inside.
