VICTORY PARTY! - Second Floor Common Room

The monsters are defeated, and Rory and Parker have been sprung from the clinic.

Both girls made brief stops in their rooms for candy, snack food and drinks, and piled everything on the counter of the common room kitchen.

The TV's on, sound muted, and the stero's blaring "We Are the Champions."

Come celebrate kicking their cold, white asses, people.

After Cordy got released from the makeshift hospital in the gym, she walks gingerly up to the second floor common room, glad to see people there.

"Fellow rooftop defenders!" she squealed, spotting Rory, Angela and Jaye.

"Cordelia! How'd you guys end up doing?" Rory asked with a smile.

Cordelia looks a little sheepish. "I got blasted with freezing water a few dozen times, and then I slipped on the roof and scraped my knee up pretty nicely. But I'm okay! How about you, did you get hurt badly?"

Rory grinned. "Messed up my knee and my shoulder's all bruisy, but nothing serious. Lee and Dr. Pevensie wouldn't let me come back up to help out, though. But hey, this beats zombie weekend, when I ended up accidentally stabbing my mom in the leg and hitting Logan over the head with a shotgun. I actually injured the right stuff this time."

Angela looks down at the bandage around her left hand. "Still hurts," she admits. "But it should be fine in a few days. Did you get banged up at all?"

Cordy smiles smally. "I got half-frozen a few times with jets of freezing ice, and I tripped over some ice as well, and banged my knee up. It's not too bad, though!"

"So ... I'm willing to bet this is the one kind of monster you don't have in Sunnydale, with the lack of snow and all."
