VICTORY PARTY! - Second Floor Common Room

The monsters are defeated, and Rory and Parker have been sprung from the clinic.

Both girls made brief stops in their rooms for candy, snack food and drinks, and piled everything on the counter of the common room kitchen.

The TV's on, sound muted, and the stero's blaring "We Are the Champions."

Come celebrate kicking their cold, white asses, people.

Molly looked up at Cordy sadly. "I got knocked out this morning and slept through the whole thing."

"Bummer," Cordy said, fiddling with her fingers a bit.

"Hey, I, um, heard you helped Logan out the other day. I'm glad you were around. And I hope you were okay today, despite the knocking-out."

"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm just glad I was there to help him," a little less sadly.

"Yeah," she grumped to Cordy's last statement, "I'm fine. Except for the stupid sleeping through all the fun stuff."

Cordy smiled a little. "True, you slept through the excitement, but it's better than ending up frozen from head to toe because the little bastards keep shooting ice water at you."

"I guess," Molly said resignedly. "I would have liked to have helped though."

Cordy nodded. "I know exactly how that feels," she said. "I'm sorry it didn't work out for you."

Molly gave Cordy a small smile. "Thanks.

"Did you get to help today? What all happened?"

"Yeah, I was up on the roof. I tried shooting them with a crossbow, but they just kept reforming again. We started dumping boiling oil and coffee on them, which helped. Then setting things on fire and throwing them down," Cordy explained.

"I think I made one of them angry though. It sprayed me a few times with freezing water and I tripped and cut my knee open. It's not too bad though."
