VICTORY PARTY! - Second Floor Common Room

The monsters are defeated, and Rory and Parker have been sprung from the clinic.

Both girls made brief stops in their rooms for candy, snack food and drinks, and piled everything on the counter of the common room kitchen.

The TV's on, sound muted, and the stero's blaring "We Are the Champions."

Come celebrate kicking their cold, white asses, people.

"I'll be fine," Angela says. "I got to the clinic pretty fast, so the blister didn't break or anything. But I'd rather not throw boiling oil around again, anytime soon. Or, like, ever."

Chloe snickers softly. "No, you've probably had enough oil experience for a little while."

"Enough of that kind of oil experience, anyhow," Angela agrees, then blushes and stares at the floor.

She's not entirely certain she was in control of her mouth right then.

"Does that mean you've had different and better oil experiences that you wouldn't mind repeating?" Chloe grins broadly. "Wow. I didn't know you had that in you."

Angela blushes a deep red and covers her mouth with her hands, rockign with giggles. "I have no idea what made me say that," she says. "I think I'm just frustrated from being single."

Then she blushes even harder. "Which you probably really didn't want to hear, huh? But whatever."

Chloe frowns softly. "I don't mind," she says. "Trust me, I understand your frustration. I was sorry to hear about you and Marty."

"Thanks, but I didn't mean that as a "please feel sorry for me" thing," Angela says. "There are good guys out there, y'know? Just .... I don't think they're at this school, mostly, or if they are they aren't single."

"Nope," Chloe says, shaking her head. "I've had about a handful of meaningless but fun experiences. But actually seeing someone hasn't happened in a while."
