The monsters are defeated, and Rory and Parker have been sprung from the clinic.

Both girls made brief stops in their rooms for candy, snack food and drinks, and piled everything on the counter of the common room kitchen.

The TV's on, sound muted, and the stero's blaring "We Are the Champions."

Come celebrate kicking their cold, white asses, people.

Zero shrugs. "Yeah, well. Things are pretty crazy here. Maybe they didn't have the Neiziwhatsits and the Gog Magog where she was from."

"Could be," Harper unconciously rubbed his belly. "Probably a good thing that."

"Guessing the Neizithings aren't philosophy students?"

"Well, they are, it's just their idea of philosophy involves them being better than everyone else."

Zero makes a face. "Well. Isn't that special."

"You're telling me," Harper said. "Trust me, you're lucky you don't have any here."

"No, but we do have Republicans," Zero told him.
