First Floor Lobby: Early Evening

As the sun sets in Fandom, Grissom comes back to the dorms for the first time in several days. Still hauling around his kit and his bag from his trip, he's trudging through the lobby when the room is filled with a loud sound, an unnerving whoosh, and then a flash of super pretty and sparkly bright light.

He's visibly startled when he sees two human forms appear in mid-air and they fall to the ground. And then start... giggling. It's two of the students from the dorms, and they reek of booze.

Lilly jumps up from the floor, a bottle of wine in her hand, and exclaims, "Gil, baby! We were totally abducted by aliens! It was awesome!"

Lisa shrugs from the floor, a little too drunk to stand up just yet. "Ummm... what she said."

Grissom shakes his head, and puts down his case. "Ms. Cuddy, Lillian. I'm sure you are aware that you can't walk around with an open container of liquor in a dormitory."

Lilly wrinkles her nose. "Dude, it's not our fault! Aliens. Aaaaa-leeee-annnns," she slurs. "They like, made us party with them."

Lisa just nods. "That's true."

Lisa grins, but then as she turns to Grissom and notices his expression, her face falls.

"Yeah, uuhhhh, ahhh... it makes sense. From a scientifical, scientatific... it makes sense, brain-wise."

"I think I've heard enough. Lillian, I want you to give me that bottle. Lisa, you'll be joining Lilly in detention on Saturday. I will see you bright and early.

And I would also encourage you to call your professors once you have sobered up, and apologize for your behavior."

"Ugh, Gil! That's totally harsh."

Lilly stands up reluctantly and hands him her wine bottle with a pout. "I'm sure there's another way we could work something out, right Professor Grissom?"

She gives him a salacious grin. "You look good by the way. Have you been working out? I can totally tell."

"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that, Ms. Kane," he replies, shaking his head and praying there were no shrubs with implanted recording devices in the area.

"Now, I assume you can make it back to your respective rooms without getting into any more trouble? I could call the security guard to escort you if necessary," he adds, certainly not offering to escort them himself, because that could just not end well.

Lisa shoots Lilly a look.

"No, Dr. Grissom. That won't be necessary."

She finally pulls herself to her feet and grabs Lilly by the arm, whispering something in her ear.

"We'll see you on Saturday, sorry for the trouble. Right, Lilly?"

"Hot Cannnnnnnaaaaadian," Lilly whines, but she turns to follow Lisa back into the dorms.

"Sorry, Gil. We will be good from now on. Well, as good as can be expected, let's face it."

Grissom stifles a laugh, and his tone comes out as overly ominous. "Very well. Make sure you rest and properly hydrate yourselves for the weekend."

They pause, and he arches up an eyebrow at them. "Go."

He tosses Lilly's wine bottle in a garbage bin upside-down, and then grabs his bags as the girls shuffle off back into the dorms, giggling all the way.
