Sam knocked on the door, ready to help set up for that evening. After all, they needed somewhere to store the extra party snacks, right?

She looked at her To Do list:

Weapons Drop Off/Pick Up
First Aid/Medical Area
Comms
--Laptops
--Cell Phones
--Ear Pieces

Time to get to work.

Janet sighed imperceptibly. "Okay, what's your name, your room number, and what day is it?" she asked. Hopefully he wouldn't exhibit any signs of confusion. That would be bad.

"Logan, it's Friday, and I don't remember my room number, but it's the teeny one and it used to be Veronica's," Logan said. He glanced over at his girlfriend.

"He just moved after the snow monster thing last weekend," Veronica explained to Janet. "But he's right down the hall."

She reached over and took Logan's hand, squeezing it gently.

Janet nodded at Veronica. "Thanks," she said. She reached out to check Logan's pulse and pupil dilation and do all other sorts of doctory things we're handwaving right now.

"Okay, you have a concussion, Logan, which I'm pretty sure you figured out. It's probably just your standard concussion, but you need to go to the clinic tomorrow. They'll want to run a CT scan on you." She glanced at Veronica. "And someone should stay with you tonight. If you start feeling like you're going to pass out, you'll want to go to the clinic immediately."

"Thanks, Veronica," said Janet. And then she handwavily explained all the symptoms and what Veronica needed to do because it's late, damn it, I can't process.

She took a look around. She thought she could maybe go to sleep now.

She helped Logan to his feet.

"Come on, tough guy, let's get you to bed."
