After watching the Superbowl, Logan cheered. "All right, Angel, Angela, step right up. Got some cash for youse guys."

"Good for me," Angela agreed amiably. "Bad for everyone else in the room except Logan, Angel and Parker."

"Hey, Veronica."

"Oh that's right, you're from Pittsburgh, huh? Well congratulations."

"I'm from just outside Pittsburgh, yeah," Angela says. "I never watch the Super Bowl, but I kind of had to make an exception for this."

"I don't get the obsession with football at all," Veronica admitted.

"It's weird. Large men knocking each other over is not my idea of a fun thing to watch, usually. But -" she shrugs. "It's tradition, or something. Plus it reminds me of my dad. The Steelers, not football in general"

"Well that's cool," she smiles.

"Yep," Angela says, glancing from Veronica to Logan. "So ... you and Logan?" she asks.

"Yeah," she said, still smiling.

Angela raises one eyebrow. "Congratulations. I never trust the radio about you, y'know?"

"You guys are cute together."

"I appreciate that," Veronica says. "But they actually got this one right."

Angela smiles, realizing she doesn't have much more to say. "So. That's good, then, For both of you," she adds, a bit redundantly.

"Did you end up singing yesterday, or whatever? I was feeling antisocial, so I missed the whole thing."

"No, I somehow missed that one," she said.

"How've you been? I haven't really talked to you since our spa day."

"I've been okay," Angela says. "I got wrapped up in the study group thing Logan was doing. Kind of took up most of my time. Glad it's over now."

"What about you?"

"Oh, you were involved with that?" Veronica asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I've been busy with classes and work mostly. Spent Friday night keeping an eye on Logan and his concussion though."

"Kind of. I helped with the medical stuff, a little. I had no business trying to -- you know. Trying to kill things."

She glances over at Logan,. "He doesn't seem concussed any more, is he doing okay?"

"I know exactly what you mean. I'm actually going to start learning self defense from my little."

She looks over to where Logan is. "Yeah, he seems to be doing a lot better."

Angela nods vigorously. "I don't think Lyta knows self-defense, but I'm definitely going to Alanna's self-defense thingies as soon as I get a chance. It can't hurt to know that stuff, y'know?"
