"Alive?" Anders gave her a blank look. "Seriously, it's been that kind of week. I'm pretty sure some fun stuff happened, but I kind of forgot most of it in the trauma with yesterday and the singing."
"Alive is about as far as I can go too," Angela says with a shrug. "I took all of yesterday to sleep and read in my room, though, so I missed the singing. Which is probably a good thing."
"Lucky you. I got woken up by Cally singing, and it turned into a whole weird back and forth conversation in song where I'm just glad it happened in our room and not in front of anyone else or it would be seriously embarrassing." He sighs too, rubbing his forehead. "I hope it gets better. But hey, now you've got twenty bucks that I don't have, so you're one up on me."
"What, like in the bit with the elephant in Maison Verte? That sounds seriously weird. Well, maybe not seriously weird for this place, but still. Weird."
"I've never seen it. But yeah, seriously. I wake up and Cally's in the bathroom, singing an entire song while she brushes her teeth. So I go to answer it and end up singing an entire song back. It was really like a musical, only literally with the music and the songs coming out of nowhere. Like, I've never used that many words to express myself, ever."
Angela blinks. "It's a good movie," she says absently. "But -- wow, am I glad I got out of that particular bit of weirdness. Not that I woke up with anyone, anyhow."
"Sorry," he grins. "My girl just showed up (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/450890.html?thread=20181578#t20181578), and she's probably gonna let me have it for disappearing all day. But seriously, congrats again."

She shrugged. "So how are you, in general?"

She sighs. "It has to get better, right?"
