One advantage of not having any classes until Tactics of War on Mondays was that Callisto had most of the day free, conversely, even with sleeping in late and snuggling with the boyfriend, if you had nothing to do it got boring real quick.

Good thing the Strifenova Celestial first season dvds she'd ordered had just arrived. Callisto considered going to the third floor common room, but let's face it, the bigger television in the second floor common room was just too tempting.

She slid the first disc into the player then settled down to watch Commander Ahab try to keep the fleet safe from the Toaston forces.

"A vamp jumped you?"

"Technically," Cameron said carefully, "yes."

Kawalsky frowned. "Technically?"

"Technically as in it jumped me first but we might have been looking for?" Cameron's not sure why he's suddenly feeling nervous.

"Wh...you went looking for vampires. As in, going after 'em with intent to kill them?"

"I didn't go alone," Cameron added quickly. "But err... yeah."

Kawalsky glanced over at the rest of the room, then looked back at Cam. "So a group of you went vampire hunting?"

"Pretty much," Cameron cleared his throat, feeling a bit defensive. "They attacked Vala and the other and abducted Rory. No one was doing anything."

"And you got yourself banged up? Who else got hurt?"

"A bit," Cameron cleared his throat and might have motioned vaguely to some people in the room.

Kawalsky looked over at them again, then back at Cam. "Never took you for a vampire hunter type. If you're gonna keep this up, you should learn a few moves they don't teach in a high school self-defense class." He shrugged. "If you want."

"Yeah, that'd be great." Cameron said quickly, looking really relieved. "Not tomorrow, though. I think I'm out for the count for a while," he motioned to the sling.

"Yeah, not til you heal up. The learning part hurts, because I'll do the moves on you so you know what they feel like so y'know what you're doing."

"Well, on the plus side I'm on meds now..." Cameron grinned.

"Ah, meds. The only reason we keep docs around once we're done with 'em."

"Uh huh," Cameron shook his head. "Although they mad me a bit too happy yesterday."

"You get all goofed up by the drugs?"

"Doc said I could take two max and it hurt a lot, so I tried the double dose and... yeah, I got goofed up. I just took one today." Cameron looked sheepish.

"Yeeeah, when they say just take the one, don't take a double. Messes with your head, man. Anyway, I've gotta go to Paleo. I'll catch ya later."
