"No, we're talking about doughnuts," Xander answered. "Doughnuts are not dirty. Unless you drop them on the ground because you just got hit by a water balloon." He frowned. "Or you bought them at that erotic pastry shop back home that did the weird displays with tastefully-placed maraschino cherries in their front window."

Rory looked torn. "I don't know what I'd do if I had like, a dirty-looking doughnut. Would I eat it, even though it's offensive and bad? Because, yay doughnut. But also? Dirty."
