2nd floor hallway, morning

Cameron might be bored. Probably. He's put up nine rolls of papertowels at one side of the hallway and is trying to bowl them over with a basketball he got from the gym. Weeee! Strike! Except, the ball kinda bounces around and it might be possible some people will get woken up like this. Oops.

"Paper towel mummy?" He skips his shoulder and goes for his head.

Aeryn is reduced to staring, because this is weird. She's rethinking that whole therapy idea for him.

And it's kinda fun to throw her like this so when he manages to tie the paper around his head, he breaks up and grins through the holes. "Your turn!"

"I will kill you," she says. "I wouldn't even hide the body. I'd leave you right there."

"Oh ouch, that hurts." Cameron sighs and dramatically puts what's left of his roll on the ground. It takes a few tries before he can get the squished roll to stand up. When he does, he picks up the basketball and holds it out to her.

Aeryn takes it, looks at the makeshift pins, then bounces the ball at Cameron. Because he looks like a paper towel roll.

Umph! He hadn't expected that one and it hits his hip. He manages to catch the ball before it bounces off and frowns at her.

"You know, you're just mean in the morning. I take it back, you're not just a papertowel squisher. You're a mean papertowel squisher." He bounces the ball back at her, a bit harder.

It lands on Aeryn's foot, and she bends to pick it up. "I deny nothing," she says, and bounces the ball back at him again, also harder.

This time he is prepared, but he forgets about his shoulder and damn, she's strong. It still doesn't wipe the smirk from his face.

"Nothing, huh? Interesting." Looking very much as if he knows a secret, he passes the ball directly instead of bouncing it.

She catches it, asks, "Interesting?" and tosses it back.

"Uh huh, so you're not denying that you really really love Thundercats." Cameron tosses it right back without much pause.

"That I shouldn't have to deny. It should be common sense," she says, and tosses the ball back a little harder.

He might flinch a bit, but he still tosses it back. "Now you're just denying."

"No," she says, and bounces it back just for a change. "I'm really not."

"Okay," he's kinda grateful for the change and returns the bounce a bit more at leisure. The paper towel around his head is starting to come loose. "Then what are you denying?"

"I said I wasn't denying anything," she says, bouncing it back again. "Except the cat cartoon thing which I shouldn't have to."

Now he's just confused. "So you do like it then? Score!" He grins and passes the ball back with enthusiasm.

Aeryn shakes her head. "You're delusional. It's almost impressive."

"But you just said you're in denial." Yups, she's lost him and he's got paper towel in his mouth. Damn.

"I didn't, actually," she says, and she thinks she might keep the ball for now. He can't even handle paper towels.

Cameron tries to get the towels loose, which somehow ends in him twirling around as it doesn't cooperate.

"...Are you all right?"

He finally ends up ripping through it and crumbling it up in a big ball. He might have some pieces stuck somewhere and his hear is definitely standing on ends. "Just fine."

She nods, holding the basketball a little tighter. "Good," she says, deeply concerned for his mental state.

He throws the ball of paper towels right at her.
