4th Floor Common Room, Monopoly Game Night

Late Saturday afternoon, Isabel started preparing the fourth floor common room for Game Night. By the time the evening rolled around, the room was ready for fun. A table against the wall was loaded with an assortment of baked goods from Jeff, God of Biscuits and an assortment of chips and various dips. There was a cooler next to the table filled with bottles of water, fruit juice and cans of soda.

Four tables were arranged with Monopoly game boards and space for eight players at a table.

With everything ready she sat down to wait.

[OOC: Obviously we're not going to be rolling the dice for every turn. The game does need to end at some point tonight (preferebly before 5:30 in the morning). Hopefully there's enough links that you'll be able to fake it well enough to have fun. Game piece icons are available for the truly obsessed here at each of the tables. Please note that [livejournal.com profile] peter__parker has a special doggie icon he can use at whatever table he wants. Have fun!]

[ooc2: Please wait for the OCD threads are up.]

"We just need a thimble and an iron and our table is full," Peter noted.

"Well, we could start and hope that two more people show up by the time we get to Sam's turn."

"I don't think I've ever played with a full table before," Sam replied. "Usually it's just a couple of us. Er, are we playing with bank robberies?"

Barbossa lifted an eyebrow. "Back robberies? Ye be tryin' t' steal loot from a pirate?"

Sam shook her head. "No, from the bank. it's not an official part of the rules, but sometimes we fudge it..."

Peter nodded. "Monopoly is at its most fun when you can try to sneak money from the bank. It makes things more interesting."
