4th Floor Common Room, Monopoly Game Night

Late Saturday afternoon, Isabel started preparing the fourth floor common room for Game Night. By the time the evening rolled around, the room was ready for fun. A table against the wall was loaded with an assortment of baked goods from Jeff, God of Biscuits and an assortment of chips and various dips. There was a cooler next to the table filled with bottles of water, fruit juice and cans of soda.

Four tables were arranged with Monopoly game boards and space for eight players at a table.

With everything ready she sat down to wait.

[OOC: Obviously we're not going to be rolling the dice for every turn. The game does need to end at some point tonight (preferebly before 5:30 in the morning). Hopefully there's enough links that you'll be able to fake it well enough to have fun. Game piece icons are available for the truly obsessed here at each of the tables. Please note that peter__parker has a special doggie icon he can use at whatever table he wants. Have fun!]

"Thank you." Blair stared at her for a minute and then looked down at the note from Pip. Not seeing anything else he bit his lip and then bounced. "So would you like to go get coffee sometime? Not now but later tonight? Or tomorrow since you probably shouldn't drink coffee at night since it's bad for your REM cycles? Or maybe.." Blair took a deep breath and grimaced. "Uh..yeah..never mind."

Nadia considered interrupting to say yes, but Blair wasn't quite giving her a chance. "I'd love to. I have to work at noon tomorrow, but maybe something before that?"

"Okay." Nadia smiled at him, then looked back down at the table. She frowned. "What does 'free parking' mean?"

Blair frowned and looked at the board. "If I had to guess I would say it's a place where we don't have to pay for parking. But I don't know why. Maybe I should listen to Isabel's instructions."

Nadia nodded, smiling slightly again. "That's probably a good idea. Though I still think it would be fun to make up our own rules."
