4th Floor Common Room, Monopoly Game Night

Late Saturday afternoon, Isabel started preparing the fourth floor common room for Game Night. By the time the evening rolled around, the room was ready for fun. A table against the wall was loaded with an assortment of baked goods from Jeff, God of Biscuits and an assortment of chips and various dips. There was a cooler next to the table filled with bottles of water, fruit juice and cans of soda.

Four tables were arranged with Monopoly game boards and space for eight players at a table.

With everything ready she sat down to wait.

[OOC: Obviously we're not going to be rolling the dice for every turn. The game does need to end at some point tonight (preferebly before 5:30 in the morning). Hopefully there's enough links that you'll be able to fake it well enough to have fun. Game piece icons are available for the truly obsessed here at each of the tables. Please note that [livejournal.com profile] peter__parker has a special doggie icon he can use at whatever table he wants. Have fun!]

"Are you out of pieces yet?" asked Janet. "I've been in detention all day and I'd really rather be having fun."

"How did that go?" Parker asked as she sat down. "Bearable or unbearable?"

"Pretty bearable," said Janet. "I fell asleep, actually, and didn't get in trouble for it. Though I had the strangest dream."

"That's good." Parker has to wonder about that, when Professor Dream was running the detention, but she's not going to comment on it if Janet's not going to say more. "Are we ready?"

"I don't know if it was good or bad, just--weird." Janet frowned. "Want to see if we can find some information on him in the library this week?"

"Maybe," Parker said cautiously. "Although, I don't know-- he's helped me out with some nightmares I was having. Asking him directly, you might get more answers, Fraiser."

"Hm," said Janet. "I'm not used to people just talking about themselves that openly, I guess."

Janet might find last week's newspaper (http://community.livejournal.com/fhightimes/12499.html) interesting.
