Rory had streamers and glitter and a newly-made, orange-and-white banner that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLY."

But Rory is not that tall. So she was having a bit of trouble hanging up the banner and streamers.

Well. She was having trouble inasmuch as she was being more flaily than usual.

"Perfect," Rory repeated happily, taping it up while still leaning one elbow against the banner. "Does it look okay? The banner itself, I mean?"

He looked at the banner. "And the banner is also perfect," he said. "But I call dibs on not cleaning up the glitter."
