Second Floor Common Room (starting in the late afternoon and continuing into evening)

Rory had streamers and glitter and a newly-made, orange-and-white banner that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLY."

But Rory is not that tall. So she was having a bit of trouble hanging up the banner and streamers.

Well. She was having trouble inasmuch as she was being more flaily than usual.

After stopping by Rory's room and finding no one there, Molly went to the common room to look for her.

"Oh," she said as she walked in and saw the banner. She went over to Rory. "Hey, I think I left my game in your room last night." She looked around the room at the decorations. "Cally's birthday? Is it today? I didn't know."

"Yeah," Rory said over her shoulder, smiling. "I didn't know until this morning, when Anders came by."

She dug her keys out of her pocket. "You can totally go get your game if you want," she said, holding the keys out. "And you don't even have to worry about Vladdie, since I've got him napping in the bathroom so that he won't mess with the cake."

Molly took the keys from Rory. "Is the party starting soon? Because I'd really like to be here, but I have plans to go to the game night up on the fourth floor at 7:30."

Rory winced. "Yeah, I was going to go to that. Um, Anders said he'd bring her by after they went to dinner, so...yes, probably?"

"Oh, cool," Molly said with a grin. "I'll just run and get my game and come right back. Do you need anything from your room since I'm going there?"

"Nope, I think we're set," Rory said with a grin.

"Okay." Molly grinned back, then ran quickly to Rory's room. She returned a few minutes later, just ahead of Anders and Cally.
