Rory had streamers and glitter and a newly-made, orange-and-white banner that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLY."

But Rory is not that tall. So she was having a bit of trouble hanging up the banner and streamers.

Well. She was having trouble inasmuch as she was being more flaily than usual.

"Kinda egotistical, innit?" Anders shrugs. "I dunno. Also, um, I haven't quite figured out the exact day yet 'cause of the calendar conversion stuff."

"Dude, okay, okay!" Anders holds his hands up. "I think it's in June sometime though."

"No, seriously, dude. It's in June. I just haven't figured out the exact day, but I think it's near the end of the month." Anders's innocent expression is genuine, this time.
