Second Floor Common Room (starting in the late afternoon and continuing into evening)

Rory had streamers and glitter and a newly-made, orange-and-white banner that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLY."

But Rory is not that tall. So she was having a bit of trouble hanging up the banner and streamers.

Well. She was having trouble inasmuch as she was being more flaily than usual.

[ooc: Open to all, because OMG CALLY'S BIRTHDAY!]

"Thanks, Parker," Cally says with a rather sheepish smile. "Please tell me you didn't get me anything?"

"I didn't, because I didn't get any warning, but..." Parker handed over a card. Inside was an I.O.U. for a day at the NPC Spa in town. "For whenever you feel like ditching your boyfriend and business partner to be girly."

"Wow, thanks." Cally smiles, chewing on her lower lip a little. "I'll definitely keep this in mind." Even though she knows full well she likes her girly in short, controlled bursts...

Parker grinned. "If you'd rather just one thing, like a manicure, or a massage? That's cool too. I know NPC isn't everyone's thing."

"Well, it's just, I've never done that sort of thing?" Cally shrugs. "A good manicure isn't really a neccessity for stripping the valves off a seven-thirty engine block, if you know what I mean."
