Second Floor Common Room (starting in the late afternoon and continuing into evening)

Rory had streamers and glitter and a newly-made, orange-and-white banner that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLY."

But Rory is not that tall. So she was having a bit of trouble hanging up the banner and streamers.

Well. She was having trouble inasmuch as she was being more flaily than usual.

"Oooh," Bridge nods. "I'd say that sucks but it means I get to hang out with you here at school for one more year before you move back to Caprica, so really," he shrugs.

Cally shrugs too. "Hey, can't find anything wrong with it, either. Sure, I got a couple cracks about the dumb homeschooled girl back at my old school? But those kinda disappeared when I came here. So, everything's good, really."

"Yup! We can have our cake and eat it too. Or is it eat our cake and have it too?" Bridge thinks. "Does it even really matter? The whole point of cake is the eating of it, so I'm not sure why you'd want to just keep a piece of cake forever and ever."

"Neither am I," Cally says with a shrug. "But thanks for wishing me a happy birthday." She leans in and gives Bridge a kiss on the cheek. "And thats a belated Happy Birthday to you."
