Rory had streamers and glitter and a newly-made, orange-and-white banner that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLY."

But Rory is not that tall. So she was having a bit of trouble hanging up the banner and streamers.

Well. She was having trouble inasmuch as she was being more flaily than usual.

"He's . . ." Anders blinks. "So did not know that. Okay, whoa. Right. Not gonna worry about it. Yet."

"Just do some research, if you're that worried," Rory suggested. "I'm sure it'd be easy enough to look up Virginia laws on this. You might ask Professor Lyman."

She glanced back over at Cally. "I'd better let you get back to the birthday girl because omgtired. Have fun, and tell her that there will, eventually, be cake when she's up for it. Provided it's in the next like, two days."

"I bet I could ask Grissom. Or get Cally to do it, since she's his TA." Anders nods and gives Rory one last hug. "Will do. And thanks again, 'kay?"
