Second Floor Common Room - Evening

Rory was lying on a couch, Vladdie on her stomach.

The former was channel surfing and eating candy.

The latter was rolling around on his back, batting at what appeared to be a whole lot of nothing in the air.

Sean wuffed. He sat up straighter, as though wishing to be polite.

"Yeah, that was my reaction too," Angel said.

Sean gave a few yips and wuffs, possibly asking questions about what he'd been told.

"Jail's pretty definite," Angel said. "Saw the bars myself.

Sean stood up at the flip, as though this had given him useful information. He barked, then did a back and forth dance on his front paws.

"No idea," Angel said. "All I know is that's what she says."

Sean wagged his tail happily. He yipped back, possibly telling a story about his day.

"I like to think of myself as pretty exceptional," Angel replied, "but I'm thinking you meant something else?"

Sean yipped back, happy to explain.

"I don't know," Angel said. "She's not from the same place I am. If it's one souled vamp per dimension she might be it for hers."

Sean barked cheerfully. He then sat down to listen, as though being told about the invisible thing's day.

"She got caught," Angel said. "Which she normally never does. Frankly that's the first thing that sounded like proof she might be telling the truth."

Sean shifted in place a few times as though he wanted to interrupt, but he didn't want to be rude.

"No clue," Angel said. "She thinks somebody here did it. But you all would tell me, right?"

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
Sean tilted his head to the side and "Aroo?"ed a question.

"Jenny could do it," Angel said. "Maybe. I don't know if that'd be her thing. Or if her clan would let her if it wasn't personal."

Sean's tail thumped the ground. He yipped, possibly asking for another story.

"No idea," Angel said. "The only contact I've ever had with that curse was when I destroyed it. Magic words, orb, powerful witch. That's all I know."

Sean gave Vladdie a look as though indicating his confidence that this would be the good part.

"Darla says no," Angel said. "Said Dru kicked her out for having one."

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
Sean gave Vladdie a reassuring yip, then went back to listening.

"Brooding," Angel said. "It works for me. I'm good at it. Not seeing a need to change."

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Sean gave an excited bark, as though they'd gotten to a good bit.

"Still working on it," Angel said. "Might be brooding all week at this rate."

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-13 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
Sean leaned forward, listening so intently that he nearly fell.

"Yeah," Angel said. "Brooding's kind of its own reward as far as that goes."
