Pippi is in the kitchen making pancakes.

For dinner.

Because she's, ya know, Swedish like that.

Pippi grinned back.

"So I gathered. What do you think about that one they were talking about on the radio?" She was almost out of batter when she instructed Molly on the rest of the stuff that needs to go into the batter which is *handwavy* because the mun doesn't feel like looking up a recipe for pancakes.

"Do you want to put anything extra into that batch? Blueberries? Bananas? Chocolate chips?"

"Ooo! Can we do some with each?" Molly asked as she added the rest of the ingredients quickly.

"I've actually missed the radio the past few days. Who were they talking about?"

"Why not?" She said, "Sounds delightful!."

She thought about it. "I don't remember. How many vampires can one small town have?"

Molly grinned as she continued to stir. "A lot fewer than there were just over a week ago. But, we know that the two worst ones, Darla and Dru, got away. What were they saying on the radio about a vampire?"

She stopped stirring and brought the bowl over to Pippi. "Okay, this looks good."

Pippi looked into the bowl. "Perfect!"

She flipped the last of the regular pancakes onto the platter and spooned out some of the new stuff.

"Apparently, Mayor Tex arrested one or something."

"Oh, good. Better dead, but jail is better than running around loose. I wonder which one it is?" What Molly also wondered was if Cam had heard and if that explained why he'd been acting so odd last night.

"Do you have some bananas ready or do you want me to cut some up?"

"Go ahead and cut 'em up." she said flipping the flap jacks like a... very flippy thing.

"I think the name started with a 'D'."

Molly shrugged. "That could be either of them. I'll find out from someone else. Not a lot I can do about it right now anyway." She quickly cut up the bananas.

"So, you fight other pirates back home?"

"Oh yes. Oodles. They're always popping up at the most inconvenient times. Particularly when one is out at sea. Some of them aren't so bad. But others can be quite bothersome... Barbosa is nice though."

She cut open the bag of chocolate.

"Not quite the same kind of fight as with snow monsters, but sometimes it can be quite challenging... What do you usually fight?"

"Criminals, super villains, people like that." Molly said absently as she watch Pippi make the pancakes. "We should make some with bananas and chocolate chips."

"Good idea!" she said sprinkling some chocolate chips over the undone side of the banana pancakes she'd just poured on.

"I don't think you could call any of the villains I ever squared off against before coming here 'super'." she thought about Blood-Sven and One-Eye'd Oscar.

"... No. Not exactly 'super' at all."
