Second Floor Common Room - Lateish Evening

After putting in an appearance at Jack's party, Rory retrieved Vladdie from her room and changed into the cozy, cozy jammies Jake had given her for Christmas.

She hopped out into the common room, set Vladdie down on the floor, and took up the remote while keeping the puppy carefully in her sights.

"Hi Bridgey!" Rory said cheerfully.

Vladdie wandered over and yipped a happy greeting, and looked significantly at the air beside him.

"New friend?" Bridge asked Vladdie.

Vladdie tilted his head at Bridge, and continued to yip, flailing anxiously at the air.

Okay, so he's curious.

He takes off a glove and does a handwave at the spot Vladdie is flailing at. And sees a sort of greenish blob of energy. Interesting.

"Well, I'm glad to meet, um...it." He tells Vladdie seriously.

Vladdie did a flip of glee.

"Friends are totally glee-worthy!" Bridge tells Vladdie. "Especially when you make a new one."

"Can you see it?" Rory asked, staring. "His imaginary friend, or whatever?"

"Sort of?" Bridge offers. "I can see, like, a cloud of energy. I'm pretty sure whatever Vladdie sees is something a little more... defined."

"It's actually there though?" Rory asked, still skeptical. "It's not just imaginary?"

"I think its name is Steve."

Rory blinked.

"Well. That's...okay. I wonder why he can see it."

"Maybe it's a dog thing? Like, sometimes dogs can see or sense things that humans can't."

"Maybe. Sean was totally either playing along or talking to, um, Steve, too."

"That definitely supports the theory!"

"At least he isn't crazy," Rory shrugged. "Or, crazier than I originally thought."

"Yay for not crazy!" Bridge gives Rory a thumbs up. And then he gives one to Vladdie and Steve. Because he can.

"So. I have a favor to ask," Rory said, suddenly remembering something.

"Yeah?" Bridge asked.

"Are you busy tomorrow night? I need a puppy-sitter."

Rory gave Bridge her biggest-eyed, saddest look.

"I would totally be glad to watch Vladdie," Bridge says.

"Ah, you are a lifesaver," Rory said, leaning over and giving him a hug. "I'll run him by tomorrow afternoon with a bottle and his blankie and stuff."

"Coolness!" Bridge gives Rory another thumbs-up.

"And, um, think you can keep him until Wednesday morning?" Rory asked, blushing. "Just because I don't know when my, um, stuff will finish up tomorrow night."

"Stuff, huh?" Bridge smirks. "I don't have any classes on Wednesday, so that's no problem."

Rory returned the smirk. "Yes, stuff. And thank you again. I owe you so, so much."
