Second Floor Common Room - Lateish Evening

After putting in an appearance at Jack's party, Rory retrieved Vladdie from her room and changed into the cozy, cozy jammies Jake had given her for Christmas.

She hopped out into the common room, set Vladdie down on the floor, and took up the remote while keeping the puppy carefully in her sights.

Blair bounced into the common room and sat down on the floor, pulling a notebook out of his pocket to work on his dating notes.

"Hi Blair!" Rory called.

Vladdie ran over and sniffed the, omg, new person eagerly.

"Rory!" Blair bounced and waved before turning to the dog and grinning. "Hey there, puppy! I'm a friend of Sean's." He held out his hand for sniffing.

Vladdie hovered to sniff Blair's hand happily. Apparently approving of him, he yipped and looked significantly at the air beside him. Meet Vladdie's invisible friend, Blair.

"What's over there, buddy?" Blair followed Vladdie's gaze and saw...nothing. But it certainly seemed that he was responding to something. He held out a hand towards the air for sniffing as well. Just in case.

"He has an imaginary friend," Rory explained. "Or something."

"Is it a dog or a person friend?" Blair squinted at the air next to Vladdie carefully.

"No idea. I can't see it," Rory shrugged. "Vladdie talks to it, though."

Blair looked up at Rory in shock. "Vladdie can talk?"

"Hey, Blair?" Molly asked from where she sat on the couch. "You're the TA for Intro to Archaeology, right?"

"Yup! What's up?" Blair grinned over at her. "You look nice tonight, by the way."

Molly looked down at the same clothes she'd been wearing in class earlier that day. "Thanks," she said with a smile.

"I was just wondering if you knew if we were going to have class this week."

"You're welcome and I have no idea. I would assume we would be having it, and Dr. Jackson hasn't let me know otherwise. Why?"

"Because we didn't have class last week and there was no announcement."

"Oh yeah, he made an annoucement in Anthropology today. Something about being out of town for his former employer."

"Oh. Well, good to know he's back now," Molly said with a grin.

"So I'll see you in class tomorrow?"

Ivanova waved from her comfortable chair. "Hey, Blair!"

"STELLLLLAAAA" Blair bounced and waved. "Hey! How are you?"

Ivanova laughed. "I'm as well as can be considered," she replied, indicating her cane and sling. "How about you?"

"Ouch, are you going to be okay?" Blair bounced and pointed out his notebook. "I'm dating now! It's pretty fun, although all the gifts are taking a chunk out of my wallet."

"I'll be fine," she replied absently, and tried to lean over to see the notebook. Her ribs complained and she had to stop. "Notes on your technique? And how many gifts are you buying for this girl? Or guy. Guy?"

"Well, I've just started dating so I'm just trying to learn about it. And presents..." Blair started ticking them off on his fingers. "Nadia, Molly, Jaye and I bought something for Angela but she's dating Marty again so I might just give it to Lilly."

"You're dating three girls at once and maybe a fourth . . ." Ivanova said slowly. She shook her head. "Blair, you're an interesting guy. I don't know anyone else who would study dating because they were just beginning. Most people just jump in."

Blair grinned and bounced. "Interesting good right? And I like to research things."
