Second Floor Common Room - Lateish Evening

After putting in an appearance at Jack's party, Rory retrieved Vladdie from her room and changed into the cozy, cozy jammies Jake had given her for Christmas.

She hopped out into the common room, set Vladdie down on the floor, and took up the remote while keeping the puppy carefully in her sights.

Peter lowered his head and tried not to crack up. "Do you have a horse?"

"I don't...but I could make one," John says, snapping. "One of the sticks with a horse head! Think that would work?"

"Either that, or if you can get your hands of coconut halves, you could go the Python route," Peter suggested.

"Also a good idea," John says, mentally taking notes. "Should I name the horse?"

"Of course. Name him Ed. It'll go right over her head," Peter said.

"Oh yes, that will be done," John says, laughing some more. "If I start waving my shield at her when she uses that damn wand, I bet that'll really tick her off."

"As long as you're willing to face detention and being small and furry again, go for it, man," Peter said, dying from laughter.

"Detention wasn't that bad," John says and shrugs. "I know I'll be an animal already. But, gotta take one for the team sometimes!"
