Phoebe smiles at Kiki, slightly surprised that she's still getting gifts after what he had sent her this morning. "Wow, he does believe in the wooing factor, doesn't he?"
Kiki grins. "Nothing like a little bit of groveling to get back into a lady's good graces!" she laughs.
"Phoebe," she asks, soboring a bit, "Did you have a chance to ask Mr. Crowley about - that thing we wanted to try? I know you've been busy, so I understand if you haven't had time yet."
Phoebe smiles. "I did and he asked us to be patient and see what he could arrange." She wrinkles her nose. "He said he'd help because he knew you and I would do it anyway... but asked that we don't rush into anything. I'm still working on him." She tilts her head. "And Kiki? No matter what's going on? I am never too busy for you... or for what we need to do, okay?"
With a small chuckle, Kiki answers, "That was more me trying to be diplomatic - I know things are better between you and Bel -" she glances at the rose and chocolates, "- so I didn't know if that meant things were not-so-good between you and Mr. Crowley, to the extent that asking favors might be problematic. But he's right, of course. He knows us well enough that he knows we'd do it ourselves anyway, so he might as well be there for it. Knowing Mr. Crowley, I'm sure he made some uncomplimentary commentary on my ability to cast anything correctly, right?" Kiki is grinning while she says this, however.
Phoebe smiles a little sadly. "Cole and I are better, Kiki, but nothing has changed. I'm still staying with Crowley and..." She swallowed. "Cole and I... I don't know... I can't be with him like I was before until... something changes."
Phoebe laughs at her supposition about what Crowley had said. "On both of us, I'm afraid."
Kiki raises an amused eyebrow at Crowley's reaction. "Typical!"
She lays her hand on Phoebe's arm. "I hope things work out for you soon. I know you two love each other, and there's just sort of... stuff in the way. I'm very relieved that he's not, at least, trying to scare you or hurt you any longer. Let me know if there's anything I can do."
