Second Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night, Oregon Statehood Day

Trying to ignore everyone coupling off all over the damn school, Sam turned on the Aaron Echolls film festival and prepared to lose herself in the movies. She had a large bowl of popcorn and bottle of diet coke and settled into one of the chairs.

Of course, she was immensely interruptable.

[ooc: For anyone without a significant other, abandoned by them, or protesting Valentine's Day in general.]

"Only if you didn't remember me!" Peter said, catching a piece of popcorn. "But clearly you remember who I am now." He grinned and tossed the popcorn in his mouth.

Alanna pouted and contimplated on teaching Teddy how to fly. With a flick of her wrist, the stuffed bear flew from her gasp and landed on Peter's head. With another flick, it flew up, down, up, down, and up, out of his reach. "Hey Parker who's not Miss."

"You're a very strange girl, you know that?" Peter asked, smiling.

"So I've been told." Alanna told him, a bit more perky than before. Teddy flew back into her arms. "I never figured making a teddy bear fly would be fun."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-15 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
"You didn't?" Peter asked. "It's a flying teddy bear. I can't think of many things that would be more fun."

"Okay, yes I can. But a flying teddy bear is still pretty high on the list of fun things."

For that, Teddy flew over and gave Peter a hug. Around the arm, because he's not a very large teddy bear.

"Aww," Peter said. Because, come on, a flying, hugging teddy bear? That's adorable.

"How did you do that, anyway?"

Teddy flew back to Alanna for snuggling. "I was born with it. Moving objects is pretty easy. I usually use my Gift for healing."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-15 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
"So you can make teddy bears fly, heal, and you have a talking cat, right?" Peter asked. "That is seriously awesome. I'm coming to you next time I sprain my ankle and want to see a flying plush toy."

Alanna laughed. "Yeah, that's a short list of my abilities." She concentrated and the table behind Peter rose a few feet into the air.

"Yeah, you see, that beats sticking to walls," Peter said, impressed.

Alanna raised a brow and lowered the table. "You stick to walls?" Now she was impressed.

"Oh. Yeah. Most people don't really know about that," Peter mumbled to himself. "Yeah. I have spider-powers. I stick to stuff. Not nearly as cool as telekinesis, though."

[identity profile] threeweapons.livejournal.com 2006-02-15 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Hey, I can think of plenty of situations in which sticking to walls would be handy. Were you born with it?" Alanna scratched Teddy with her good hand and kind of patted Faithful with the cast. Faithful glared at Teddy.

"No, I'm an accident of science," Peter answered. "I got my powers about a year ago."

Peter noticed the glare from the cat. He kind of felt sorry for it. Being patted with a cast must not be comfortable.
