Trying to ignore everyone coupling off all over the damn school, Sam turned on the Aaron Echolls film festival and prepared to lose herself in the movies. She had a large bowl of popcorn and bottle of diet coke and settled into one of the chairs.

Of course, she was immensely interruptable.

Cordy wanders down to the common room after her conversation with Paige. Might as well be sociable with all the other dateless types.

Stupid Valentines Day.

"Whee," Cordy says unenthusiastically, and flops down on a couch.

Alanna tossed some popcorn at her. And the contimplated on making Teddy fly again.

"Nrrrg," Cordy 'said'. "What'd I ever do to you to deserve such harsh treatment?" Cordy asked, grinning.

Alanna made Teddy do a lap around Cordelia's head.

"Buh?" Cordy asked, oh so eloquently.

Alanna wiggled her fingers. Teddy the Amazing Stuffed Flying Bear happily waved a paw at Cordy.

"You are quite the strange person, you know that?" Cordy asked. "It's a good thing," she added.

Teddy the Bear gave Cordelia a hug. Well, sort of. He leaned on her shoulder and moved his paws at her.

"Aww," Cordy said, and reciprocated the hug. "That makes up for it."

Teddy the Bear was getting tired so he flew back to Alanna, who hugged him. "I'm not sure whether to hug or kill the guy who sent him. And the roses. And my twin. Maybe hug the guy and kill my twin?"

"You have a twin?" Cordy asked. "Wacky."

"Yup. Thom. He wanted to be a Sorcerer, I wanted to be a knight. We switched places. No, he didn't have to pretend to be a girl for longer than an hour. Lucky bastard." Teddy was now resting on Alanna's stomach. "He's the one who made sure that Jon could send me the flowers and bear."

"Women always have the hardships," Cordy said sympathetically.

"Not so happy?" Isabel asked. Still vaguely amused by her conversation with Xander (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/466027.html?thread=21532523#t21532523).

"Not a fan of this day," Cordy said grimly. "Bad memories."

"Really? That's not good." She waved her hand around the room. "Well you're with friends now. Hang out and have fun."

Cordy smiled and nodded. "Exactly why I came out here. I knew I'd find friends in here."

"Second floor common room is always the place to be. It's why I wandered down." She looked thoughtfully at Cordelia for a minute, "So you and Xander used to date?"

Cordy raised an eyebrow and barely stopped herself from facepalming.

"Why yes, we certainly did," she said, a little nervous of what he could have told his roommate about her.

"I was wondering about that after Friday night." She shrugged, "I half heard some of what you said, and then after you kissed... Well it's obvious there's some history there."

Cordy smiled a little and felt herself going slightly red. "There was also a lot of alochol involved with that," she said.

"True, he wasn't in very good shape when I found him Sunday morning." Isabel shook her head, "He fell asleep in the stairwell."

"The stairwell?" Cordy asked with a laugh. "That's great. Mind you, I just stayed in Rory's room even though my room is right down the hall."

Isabel laughed, "I think I stepped over you when I left on Saturday morning. That was an interesting evening."

"It certainly was," Cordy said. "Very interesting," she said thoughtfully.
