Also, he doesn't have a date. And he's not the kind of person to snark on other people.

So he's here in the Common Room, flipping aimlessly through the channels and desperately hoping something good will come on.

"Eep!" Bridge shrieks, as his cheek gets painted. Then his eyes go wide, "did I seriously just say eep?"

"You so did," John says and laughs again. "And you have the perfect skin for orange. And I know that sounds gay but I'm really not!"

"I'll have my revenge," Bridge says, brandishing his own nail polish brush threateningly, before aiming for John's nose.

The green nail polish hits his nose dead one and now he's got green nail polish on his nose.

"Heeeey!" He grabs for a pink nail polish and threatens Bridgeor Cally or whoever with it. "Hey Bridge? Are you gonna be in Cally's body forever?"

"God I hope not," Bridge groans.

"Well, assuming you do get your Bridge body back, we could totally paint Cally's nails all different colors and make her shriek when she gets her body back."

"Oh that's *mean*!" Bridge laughs. "But not, like, lasting-damage mean. I like it!"

"Exactly," John says. "We paint her nails and maybe paint symbols on her arms or something. You can deal with that until you get your body back, right?"

"Well, I'm hoping that this will just wear off after a day like so many weird things around here seem to, so yeah, I can live with that."

"Let's do it," John says. "Hot pink for the fingernails?"

"Yay," John answers and reaches for Cally's hand, painting the nails a sloppy hot pink. "Whoo hoo!"

"I think blue would work well for m- her toenails," Bridge says, reaching for a sparkly blue tube of nailpolish.

"Definitely," John says, scanning the colors. "I'm gonna draw a sun on her arm when you're done."

"Oooh, and a moon and some stars on the other arm!" Bridge suggests. "You know. To complete the set."

"Done!" John paints a sun on one arm using yellow nail polish and uses blue and gray to paint a moon and more yellow for the stars. "Night and day in nail polish a la John!"

"Oooh, tickly!" Bridge says, as John paints. "Thanks, dude!" he says, giving John a thumbs-up afterwards.

"No problem!" John nods at his handiwork. "Not too bad. We do good work."

"Go team us!" Bridge says, pulling his sleeves back down and slipping his socks on. "And oh look, there's Cally, and Anders," he says, as they walk in. "Good timing."
