Saturday Morning, 3rd Floor Common Room

Walter had woken disgustingly early in a disgustingly good and sober mood and decided to make breakfast for his floor, or anyone who happened by.

Pancakes were Pippi's thing, crepes were Pip's, Walter decided on omelettes. After a quick run into town, he has most of the ingredients one could hope for in an omelette and several dozen eggs.

Remember, he doesn't just work as a waiter at Cafe Fina, he cooks there, too. Come on in for some free food.

And here was Nadia, also in her party dress.

"Good morning, Nadia, would you like some breakfast? Or maybe just some tea?"

Nadia blinked blearily at him from behind her sunglasses.

Of course, the lenses were reflective, so it probably looked more like she stared blankly at him for a few moments.

"Tea," she said, considering. "Yes. Tea."

"Tea it is." Walter said, speaking quietly. Hangovers he recognized, even if he really only understood them in theory.

"Have a seat and tell me why both you and Pippi are still wearing your dresses from last night."

Nadia sat down and gently thwapped herself on the forehead with her hand.

She might have even said something that was explanation-ish, but it was very much muttered quietly into her hand, and thus probably not completely understandable.

Walter set a cup down in front of her with a small bowl of sugar and some a small pitcher of milk.

"I didn't quite catch that. Did I hear the word chinchilla in there?" He turned away before she could see him smirk and busied himself slicing some mushrooms. "You really should try to eat something."

Nadia's next mutter might have included several curse words and insults to Walter's heritage. She might, of course, been referring to whatever was beating on the inside of her skull.

An occasional word was said loud enough for people to make out clearly, including "had sandwhiches" and "Artie", though not necessarily in that order.

And because Walter had been teasing her, he doesn't take such mutters personally.

"Good that you've eaten. Do you mean the loud fellow who works at Carita's?"

"That's the one. Pippi and I must have passed out in the park; we woke up at his place, he made sandwhiches, loaned me sunglasses, and we came back here."

That part wasn't embarrassing, so she has no problem answering the question at a more reasonable volume.

"Sounds like a decent fellow," Walter said, refreshing her tea. "I am happy to hear you two did not end up spending the night on the beach. Will you be doing anything else today?"

"Auditioning. Then sleeping."
