Rory sat on the couch with Vladdie, watching the Eternal Champion DVDs that had just arrived. Thank God for Netflix.

She paused, and rewound a few times as she watched the Valentine's Day episode. Something seemed awfully familiar about that fiancé....

"Yay for you, then," Logan said in a more sincere tone, and kissed her lightly.

"So why didn't you tell me you had detention today?" she asked.

Logan shrugged. "I forgot," he said. "It was pretty much the last thing on my mind last night."

She smiled softly. "Well I guess I can forgive you then. Thanks for leaving me a note at least," she teased.

"I'm sorry I couldn't stay," he said. "Believe me, I would so rather have stayed in bed with you then go to detention."

Veronica looked around and hoped no one had overheard Logan's comment.

"Oh, yeah, Jake stopped by this morning. He wanted to know if I had a cheerleading outfit he could borrow."

"Er, why?" Logan frowned.

"Something about his big revenge plan?" she said with a shrug.

Logan gave her a wary look. "Revenge on who?"

"I decided I was probably better off not knowing," she said. "Plus he kind of caught me... off guard."

Logan blinked. "Please tell me Jake didn't see you naked."

"No!" she said. "I grabbed your shirt," she admitted. "But I was still half asleep."

"You were wearing my shirt?" Logan smiled. "I wouldn't mind seeing that."

"That might be able to be arranged," she said with a grin.

"And what about that cheerleading outfit?" Logan grinned. "You have one of those tucked away somewhere?"

"No," she said with a roll of her eyes. "I sent Jake to Lilly to get her pep squad outfit."

Logan winced. "She still has that?"

"Um, she had one from freshman year, it's a long story," she said. She figured the common room probably wasn't the best place to mention that Clarence Weidman was somehow helping finance Lilly's afterlife.

She leaned over to kiss him rather than changing the subject.

Logan was happy to kiss Veronica instead of talking about Lilly.

Veronica was happy to kiss Logan.

And then she remembered they were in the common room, so she pulled away and smiled at him.

Logan grinned and quirked his head slightly in the direction of his room.

Veronica nodded slightly and took his hand.

Logan kissed her lightly and lead her back to his room.
