Rory sat on the couch with Vladdie, watching the Eternal Champion DVDs that had just arrived. Thank God for Netflix.

She paused, and rewound a few times as she watched the Valentine's Day episode. Something seemed awfully familiar about that fiancé....

"Ow, hey, watch the ribs! That would be because I am," he says, swatting her foot away. "Hi. Yes. I totally woke up back in my own body this morning. Which was, let me tell you, awkward."

Kara breaks out laughing and says, "Girlfriend couldn't keep it in your pants, huh?"

Anders turns very red and stares at her. "How did you know?"

Because he's so not mentioning the "waking up with Bridge" part.

"I didn't," she says, leaning back in the chair and winking. "Don't worry Samuel, your secret is safe with me."

"Thanks. I think," says Anders, prodding Kara in the leg a few times. "I never, ever want to do that again. I hope Cally didn't say anything too weird to you."

"She wanted to get sweaty and make out with me," she replies, a smile playing around her lips. Kara stands up and says, "I'm gonna get a root beer, want anything?"

"Damn you and that root beer," he says. "I'm so frakkin' addicted now -- she said what?"

She grins and goes off to the kitchen. After a minute, Kara returns with two chilled root beers and a bag of pretzels. She passes a bottle to Anders and teases, "Who knew your girlfriend had it hot for me?"

Anders ignores the bottle, buries his face in his hands to hide the furious blushing, and mumbles, "Can you blame her?"

Kara's only reply is laughter before she takes a long drink from her root beer.

Anders finally takes the bottle, cracks it open, and takes a healthy swig; his face is still incredibly red. "Modest as always, aren't you?"

Anders rolls his eyes in amusement and raises his bottle of root beer to her. "Wouldn't have you any other way, Thrace."

She clinks their bottles together and takes another sip. "So, you try out for the spring musical?"

"Who, me?" Anders shakes his head violently. "Oh, hell no. The pageant was way more than enough for me. Don't tell me you did. Did you?"
