Kara settles down for a lazy Sunday in the second floor common room to watch the Olympics.

"Hey Cam," Kara says, giving him a smile.

"Kara," he smiles back and plops down on the couch. "I think I completely suck and haven't seen you since the snow monsters. How's the head?"

"Nah, I just haven't been social. It's much better," she says.

"I'd be really worried if it wasn't by now," Cameron says.

"Yeah, me too," Kara replies. "What's been going on with you?"

Cameron laughed, not really a happy sound. "Heard the news lately?"

"Err radio," Cameron shrugged sheepishly. "I'm... What was it Lilly said? Hot and available?"

"Damn, Cam, I'm sorry," Kara says, putting out a hand on his arm.

"I don't know, I kinda like the hot part." Cameron gave her a small smile.

Kara gives him a smile and squeezes his hand. "She doesn't know what she's missing."

"I t hink it's more the other way around," Cameron admits and looks down at her hand. "And I kinda do know what I'm missing."

"Well, I'll just shut up," Kara says, with a small grin.

"Nah," he lightly taps his thumb against her hand and smiles. "Thanks. I'm just being a grouch for a bit."

Cameron Mitchell is weighted down by the memories of life before his angry break up, which filled him full of soulpain. Finding himself unable to function normally in society, he goes off to spend some time alone and work out his aggression.

"Uh huh," Cameron gets distracted as the Quill starts to write. "Is it supposed to do that?"

Kara glances over her shoulder, watching the quill write. "Yeah. It's a project for journalism. Professor Skeeter handed them out."

"What does it do?" Cameron frowns.

Kara shrugs and says, "It takes notes on conversations."

"Uh, so anything said here is official?" He frowns and eyes the quill suspiciously.

"Official? I think Professor Skeeter just wanted us to see it in action, I don't think we're going to do anything with it," she says.

"Okay," he relaxes again. "It's not like it makes a difference of course, with the radio everyone knows everything anyway."
