Her Quick Quotes Quill scribbles away. Veruca Cally, the poor confused child, seems unsure if she was actually herself, while searching for her cheating boyfriend, Samuel Anders.

Anders totally chokes on a piece of muffin, which is a convenient excuse for turning horribly red.

Kara just pats her on the head.

As Veruca's identity crisis reaches breaking point, she offers her body in return for self-recognition to even our esteemed reporter, Kara Thrace.

Cally grins and looks up at Kara. "I'll take that as a not now," she says. "So, haven't really gotten the chance to chat with you in, like, forever. You doin' okay?"

"Yeah, not bad," Kara replies.

When a physical connection is rejected by our esteemed reporter, the poor, confused child tries to forge an emotional bond. Veruca attempts anything to save herself from the pit of black despair.

"The knee feelin' good?" Cally asks. "Cause, like, I randomly guilt about that sometimes. Not to be all stupid about it, but yeah."

Kara shrugs and says, "It aches, but not in a painful way. I don't get down to the gym often enough, but that's my own fault."

As Veruca continues to speak, it becomes clear she is a danger to our esteemed reporter and society.

"Me neither," Cally says. "I mean, the whole not getting to the gym enough thing. And given the amount of baked goods Anders feeds me, I'm gonna need to, or else I'm gonna need a whole new wardrobe."

Poor child unable to even feed herself. Goodness.

"Oooh, lemme know, okay? Maybe we can do it together? Cause Anders usually forgets to tell me when he's going, and it's kinda weird excercising by yourself, I think." Cally smiles. "If that's okay with you, I mean."

Cally's smile broadens. "Awesome. Just lemme know," Cally says with a nod. "Well, I think Anders and I are gonna, like, head back to our room to do homework."

"Have fun," replies Kara, giving her a smile.

Samuel and Veruca take their devient behaviours away from the common room and to somewhere more private. This esteemed reporter breathes a sign of relief. One can only hope they get the best medical help society can offer.
