The Gym, Late Monday Morning

Sleeping in was nice. Especially on such a cold morning. But as much as she'd like to spend the day as a couch potato watching the Olympics, she needs to get some exercise done. Bundled up in her sweats, iPod in hand, she headed to the Gym.

Once there, she stretched out a bit and then hit the trainer.

"Me, although I'd rather still be sleeping." Parker smiled, and started to punch the bag, then reverse-strike it. "No classes today, and if anyone wants in the library? They can come find me. I'm not opening it. How was the rest of your weekend?"

"Good call. I took some people over to Jarod's, and boy was that a mistake." Parker grimaced as she kicked the bag, then shot Mitchell a glare. "I thought everyone knew it was a bordello! It's not like it's not on the radio all the time!"

[np, I gotta get to class! ]

"Yes. I took her along for the entertainment value, and she started corrupting my best friend within seconds. Or he was corrupting her. I'm so screwed." Parker rolled her eyes, and gave the bag an extra-hard punch. "And then Rory and Jaye got on some craziness about the couch, I don't even want to know, and the radio's on crack again. I really have to hunt down and hurt Barbossa. Free press, my ass."

"Jarod," Parker said, doing a front-kick to the bag. "He's the bartender at Caritas. And the receptionist at the 4th Sin." She shrugged. "He has an apartment there. I've gotten so used to it, that I didn't think of how it might hit other people." She grinned. "And yeah, go tease him more now. I think he's gone giddy with Vala gone. Silly, silly boy."

Parker shrugged. "Sure. He works Mondays and Wednesdays, we'll stop by sometime." She side-kicked the bag, and followed it up with a series of punches. "The break-up? Yeah, he walked out of Princess Bride before the sword fight last night. I think the break-up happening on Valentine's Day wasn't any help."

"Well, Darla's in jail, and Lorne's back, according to the radio. I need to go yell at him for scaring the life out of me." Parker grinned, then stepped back, and though she wasn't aware of it, did the next move slow enough that Isabel could probably follow it: legs apart, left foot stepped in front of her right, her right leg rose and bent, then uncoiled straight out at the bag.

"I had fun watching GOB make an idiot of himself over Becky at the 4th Sin on Valentine's Day-- I think my day went better than a lot of people's."

"God, yes. The mariachi's were so damn sincere, and Constable Fraser so enthusiastic, but the *song* choices--" Parker stopped to laugh again at the memory. "Bad, bad idea. Still, he didn't get beat up for it. Maybe it *is* true love. Or something."

She cocked her head. "Does tonight work for you?"

"Sixish? Early dinner, then show up there?" Parker grinned. "Maybe Peter made copies. God knows I would have."
