The Gym, Late Monday Morning

Sleeping in was nice. Especially on such a cold morning. But as much as she'd like to spend the day as a couch potato watching the Olympics, she needs to get some exercise done. Bundled up in her sweats, iPod in hand, she headed to the Gym.

Once there, she stretched out a bit and then hit the trainer.

"Rain forest? Does it have lots of fish?" He asked a bit reluctant.

"From what I understand," she explained, "you work your way through all the fish exhibits to the roof. And then under this enormous green house they have this elaborate rain forest. So there's plenty of fish, but I don't think they have anything bigger then a dolphin."

Cameron graimced and shook his head. "I don't know," he repeated.

Obviously there was more going on here then she knew. "No problem. There's still time to decide." The trainer beeped as the cycle finished. She stepped off and grabbed her water bottle, taking a long swallow. "Other then that, I think I might be joining you just sitting around. It'll be relaxing at least."

"As long as you don't mind the occasional spar," Cameron said and picked up the halters again.

"Nope, not at all," she smiled. Walking over to the mats she started to stretch some more, taking advantage of the fact that she was nice and warmed up. "It's bad enough I did nothing the entire first month I was here. I'm not slacking off again."

"I'll make sure you don't," Cameron chuckled and definitely didn't get distracted. Really, he was just glad to get off the topic of aquaria.

"Good," she said. "I'd hate to go home in June and have gained twenty pounds." She sat down, stretched down over her legs, and held the position. "But hopefully between the gym and cutting back on doughnuts I'll do okay."

He snorted and forced himself to concentrate on the lifting. "Poor doughnuts."

"It's going to be sacrifice," she said. A few more stretches and twists to loosen up her lower back and she was ready to do some crunches. Moving at a slow pace, and mumbling because she hadn't done it in so long it hurt, she started to count.

Taking a break as his shoulder started to hurt, Cameron tilted his head and watched her. "Need a hand?"

"Ten. You don't mind?. Eleven."

"Nope," Cameron stood up and dried his hands on his sweats. He kneeled down beside her feet and took hold of her ankles. "Way easier like this."

"Thanks. Fourteen. Fifteen." She grimaced. "I hate doing this. But it's worth it when summer comes."

"Sure," Cameron coughed and looked down at her knees. "Seventeen."

She didn't say much after that. Because talking and doing crunches? Not particularly mixy. "Forty-eight, forty-nine, fifty." She flopped back on the mat. "I'm going to hate myself in the morning."

He chuckled and patted her leg before sitting back. "Nah, you did good. It will be a good kind of hurt."

"Good kind of hurt, my ass." She would have glared at him, but it was too much effort. "Just remind me of that tomorrow when I can't move."

Un-phased, Cameron just grinned at her. "Am I going to have to carry you back?"

She thought about saying yes just to see if he'd do it. But instead she slowly pushed herself up and to her feet. "No, I can handle it."

Cameron stayed put and looked up at her. "I don't doubt it."

She smiled, "Thanks. We still on for Thursday?"

"Yep, unless you want to do that show Parkie promised me." He looked a bit cheekily up at her.

Raising an eyebrow, Isabel waited to see if she would have to smack him. "What show?"

"Apparently you're going to spar for me," he said.

"For you?" she asked slowly. "With who? And this better not involve jello and skimpy clothing, or I will so kick your ass."
