3rd Floor Common Room, Late Monday Afternoon.

Callisto was bored. Very bored.

This was possibly why she was watching Bitterwoman while sitting upside down on the couch .

"Hey, Peter," Angel said. "Not bad and not bad. You?"

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
"I've been worse. Like, this weekend. Wasn't feeling great," Peter shrugged. "But, hey, all better now."

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
"Did you have clothing problems too?" Angel asked, sympathetically.

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
"Um. No. I just wasn't feeling well," Peter said. "Clothing problems?"

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Jake bleached and pinked my clothes," Angel said, with a face of great woe.

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm very sorry for your loss," Peter said hesitantly. Because what are you supposed to say to that?

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
"Thank you," Angel said, sincerely. "It... it was hard. Those were some of my favorite shirts. Sure you can go out and buy a new wardrobe - " he gestured to his brand-new outfit of black and black and black " - but it's not the same, you know?"

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, I get that," Peter said, worrying about Angel's sanity. "In time, though, you'll love the new shirts just as much as you loved the old ones. Just give it time."

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
"Can't replace the memories," Angel said. He straightened his shoulders, clearly gathering strength. "But you go on to the new place. I'm making my peace. I'm trying to accept it."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
"Be brave, Angel. Brave like soldiers," Peter said, deciding to just go with it.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm trying," Angel said. "So how about you? Feeling better?"

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, I was just not at all in the mindset to RP for THREE DAYS OMG feeling a little weird after the dance. But now I'm fine. I just wish I had today off work hadn't missed almost all of this wonderful day off," Peter said. "True, I only have one early class on Mondays, but still. I feel the loss."

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, I totally get that OMG get that," Angel said. "Not that Monday's a tough day for me but I wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow or the rest of this week either for that matter I could've joined in on the DC trip. Kinda sucks when you're the guy with the sun allergy."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
"That's not something antihistamines will help with, is it?" Peter asked.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
"Unfortunately not," Angel said. "A blanket or umbrella maybe, but that gets old after the first few minutes."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
"That..." Peter almost said "sucks." Then he almost said "bites."

"... is too bad."

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
Angel shrugged. "Atonement's a bitch. Just have to visit the Jeffersonian Smithsonian when the sun's down."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
"A nighttime trip to DC could be pretty cool," Peter said. "I've only been there once, and that was during the day. But the pictures I've seen of DC at night are fun."

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
"It is pretty," Angel said. "All the momuments are lit up. It's nice. Plus no lack of demons to kill if you're into that kind of thing."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
"Demons in DC," Peter said. "Should've seen that coming, really."

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
"They do seem to thrive there."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-02-21 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
"That's really not a surprise," Peter said.
