Room 225 [Monday afternoon] - ABC DC HQ open for business

Bridge is here. He's kinda bored. He's working on a random somethingorother, ever so often glancing suspiciously at the scooter in the middle of the room.

"Dude! Dessert!" exclaims Anders, happily sipping away at the float as he watches the holoprojection. "And . . . okay, is this a funky clock or something?"

"Dude! That's so cool!" Anders bounces and accidentally sloshes root beer float into his lap, yelping at the -- "Cold! Cold cold cold!"

Anders sticks his tongue out at Bridge. "Is that what time it is here?" He cross-checks with his watch. "Oh, I guess it is. Does that just do local time, or can you, like, figure out what time it is anywhere on the planet?"

Anders scratches his head and pushes a button . . . and immediately discovers the exact time, to the second, in southeastern Sumatra.

"Huh."

He pushes the button again, and for some reason the clock seems to think it's the same time in Auckland, New Zealand as it is in Reefside . . .

"That's a lot of planets, dude," Anders says before leaning over to poke a few more buttons. "Okay, where the frak is Ithor? I have no idea, but it looks like the clock does."

"My turn!" says Anders, after another gulp of root beer float. He pokes at the buttons some more, and a new planet shows up in the projection. "Where's KO-35?"

"Um. Because I turned it on?" Anders shrugs. "Turn it off and turn it on again and see what happens."

"Huh. Must be its way of making sure you don't let it run out of battery."

"Also? Awesome floats." Anders nods and holds his glass (because hey, the clock is spiffy enough to even give them old-fashioned soda-fountain style float glasses) over for Bridge to clink his against it.
